Looking Ahead to New Records

Fans and trade experts are now waiting to see how far Kantara: Chapter 1 can go, with predictions suggesting it may soon cross the Rs 1000 crore mark. With its strong momentum, that goal seems within reach. A review from the media report praised the film’s visuals and storytelling, saying, “Arvind S. Kashyap’s cinematography beautifully captures both action and scenery. The production quality makes every frame look rich. Ajaneesh Loknath’s background score is powerful, though sometimes a bit loud. Rishab Shetty’s effort to bring folklore to life on such a big scale makes Kantara: Chapter 1 a remarkable film, even if the pace could have been smoother.” Directed by Rishab Shetty, who also stars in the film, Kantara: Chapter 1 serves as a prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara. The movie also features Jayaram, Gulshan Devaiah, and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles.
